BJP candidates announced in 3 states: Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh

Three hours after the announcement of election dates in 5 states, BJP has released the names of 162 candidates from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. These include names of 41 candidates from Rajasthan, 57 from Madhya Pradesh and 64 from Chhattisgarh.

This is the first list of Rajasthan, fourth list of Madhya Pradesh and second list of Chhattisgarh. Candidates are yet to be announced for 159 seats in Rajasthan, 94 seats in Madhya Pradesh and 5 seats in Chhattisgarh.

The party has given ticket to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from Budhni and Home Minister Narottam Mishra from Datia. Apart from this, the party has given tickets to 7 MPs from Rajasthan. Among them, Narendra Kumar has been given ticket from Mandawa, Kirodilal Meena from Sawai Madhopur, Baba Balaknath from Tijara, Bhagirath Choudhary from Kishangarh, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Jhotwara, Diya Kumari from Vidyadhar Nagar and Devji Patel from Sanchore.

BJP has announced 64 candidates in the second list for Chhattisgarh. MP and Union Minister Renuka Singh will contest from Bharatpur-Sonhat seat, Gomati Sai from Pathalgaon and Bilaspur MP and State President Arun Sao from Lormi seat.
