Such daily wage laborers, daily wage earners or poor helpless families of Municipal Corporation area who are unable to get food for themselves due to not getting daily wages due to lockdown. Free ration packets are being distributed by the municipal corporation to such needy people.
In all eight zones of the city, 466 needy families have demanded ration, which is being delivered by the municipal team to the houses today.
This service has been started for the needy in view of the long lockdown at the initiative of Collector Dr. Summary Mitter and Mayor Shri Ramsharan Yadav. Ration is being sent to the houses by mentioning the Aadhaar number and name, address on the phone number mentioned. For this, the duty of municipal corporation employees has been imposed.
The Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Ajay Tripathi has issued the phone number of the in-charge for each zone, which can be made aware of the need for ration by contacting them.
