Purchase of paddy on the basis of verified acreage – collector

Bilaspur 12 January 2021. While reviewing the paddy purchase at the meeting of the deadline today, Collector Dr. Summary Mittar said that monitoring and monitoring of paddy more than usual should be done continuously. He said to keep an eye on interstate transport and couches. The Collector asked to purchase paddy on the basis of the area mentioned in Girdawari. He inquired about the availability of gunny bags. On this, the officials of the Food Department said that sufficient gunny bags are available in the committees.
In the meeting held in the Manthan Sabha, the Collector gave instructions to the officials of Cooperative Department, Cooperative Bank to monitor illegal paddy procurement and transportation. He called for constant monitoring regarding the availability of gunny bags. Along with the purchase of paddy, we also reviewed the offtake. Food Department officials said that 46 percent of the total paddy purchase from the committees has been lifted by the millers. The Collector directed that the millers would lift the paddy directly from the committee. He informed that so far 35 lakh 50 thousand quintal paddy has been purchased in the district.
Taking seriously the time limit cases, the collector directed to dispose of them soon. Said to seriously deal with applications received under the Public Service Guarantee. On the review of Kovid Vaccination, the Chief Medical and Health Officer said that the district will soon receive the vaccine. The Collector gave instructions to make necessary preparations for this. Along with this, other points were reviewed, including the progress made in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Bhuiyan portal, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, construction of platforms.
