Bilaspur: Bring awareness through field staff in rural areas – Chief Minister Mr. Baghel

Bilaspur May 06 2021. The Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today held a meeting of Sub-Divisional Officers Revenue, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, SDOPs, Police In-Charges, Chief Medical Officers and Block Medical Officers of Bilaspur and Surguja divisions through video conferencing at his residence office in the capital today. He discussed the prevention and prevention measures of Corona. Mr. Baghel reviewed the progress of Kovid vaccination, treatment arrangements for patients, system of Isolation and Kovid infection test etc.
Public Works and Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu were also present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister also discussed with the officials of Bilaspur district. Bilha’s SDM Mr. Akhilesh Sahu said that there are a total of 5 thousand 950 cases in Bilha. Out of which 1800 are active cases and 1600 patients are in Home Isolation. A primary bedside care sensor of 42 beds has been prepared at Bilha ITI Bhavan. Which has 20 oxygen beds. At present treatment of 14 patients is going on here. Bilaspur Tehsildar Shri Gavel informed about the efforts being made to prevent corona infection in Bilaspur subdivision. CSP Shri Nimesh Baraiyya said that patrolling is being done continuously during the lockdown period. Continuous monitoring is being done to ensure that the lockdown is not violated.
The Chief Minister directed that awareness should be brought at village panchayat level through Mitannin, Patwari, employment assistants and health workers. He said that at present Corona is spread in urban areas as well as rural areas. The village still has the Kovid protocol, handwash, mask, sanitizer, There is a lot of lack of awareness about vaccine and Isolation etc. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of all of you to convince the people of your area, especially women, about the corona and motivate the villagers through field works to be vigilant. Chief Minister Baghel said that people in the village do not understand the symptoms of Kovid, so their infection increases inside and they go to the medicine after the situation becomes very serious. Which makes them very difficult to treat. With this in mind, Mitanin and health workers should explain the symptoms of Kovid to people. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also instructed to refute the misconceptions spread on social media. Instructions were given to ensure availability of medicines in Mitannin Kit.
Public Works and Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu suggested that there should be a system of thermal screeners in the gram panchayats. Apart from this, he also asked for arranging the vehicle. So that the patient can be admitted to the hospital easily. Revenue Minister Shri Jaisinghwal informed about the measures taken for control of Kovid and praised the officers and employees of the department and asked them to take care of their family.
All the SDMs, Tehsildars, Chief Medical and Health Officers, SDOPs, Police Incharge, BMOs and other officers attended the meeting.
