On this occasion, he performed Bhumi Pujan and inaugurated 13 development works costing Rs 6 crore 23 lakh.
On this occasion, the regional MLA and vice-president Bastar Development Authority, Mr. Vikram Mandavi said that the state government is taking initiative with the highest priority for the availability of all facilities of roads, communication, drinking water, electricity etc. in this area. In this direction, under the most important Bhopalpatnam city water magnification scheme, pipeline construction and tank construction for water supply in various wards at a cost of 4 crore 37 lakh rupees, indoor stadium construction at a cost of 45 lakh 50 thousand rupees, cost of 63 lakh 45 thousand rupees. Including RCC drain construction, community building construction, boundary wall construction at a cost of Rs 62 lakh 63 thousand Cement concrete road construction and theater building construction works were performed. At the same time, Solar-street lights installed at a cost of Rs 16 lakh 45 thousand have been launched in Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. Along with this, a tractor has been supplied at a cost of Rs 6 lakh 85 thousand from the infrastructure item for drinking water supply and other works. He assured the citizens that in the near future, other development works will also be focused on ensuring. Initially Collector Ritesh Kumar Aggarwal said in welcome address that this border town has immense potential for development. Keeping this in view, attention will be given to ensuring tourism development works along with all basic facilities.
