Bijapur: Farmer resident of remote Chandur thanks to the government for earning paddy at support price of Rs 2500: Earned income from moong crop including improved paddy cultivation

Bijapur 06 December 2020. Farmer Satyam Pirla, resident of Chandur, a naxalite affected village under Bhopalpatnam block of the district, has done farming and farming in the modern way and leads the family to prosperity. In this remote area, by adopting the new techniques of farming farming, Satyam has become the inspiration for other farmers in their region. Satyam says that in the Kharif season, he plants HMT in 3 acres of acreage in his 4 acres of agricultural land and 1010 species of paddy in one acre with Sreedhi method. At the same time, 2 acres of marhan land is cultivated with new technology of mung. Better production is achieved through this good yield. Satyam said that about 56 quintals of paddy was produced last year , of which 30Quintal paddy sold at support price. During the sale of paddy , 54 thousand 450 rupees was paid directly to the bank account at the rate of Rs 1815 per quintal . At the same time, under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana, the amount of the remaining difference on the support price of Rs 2500 has been paid in three installments of Rs 15 thousand 413 . Satyam says that he fulfilled the needs of household and family with the amount of the said scheme. The same amount was used for payment of wages. Satyam Pirla produced 7 quintals of moong by taking advanced crop of moong in last year on 2 acres . Agricultural advice was provided by the Department of Agriculture including assistance under Atma Yojana to take the maung crop from advanced agriculture. Due to which good production was obtained, out of 7 quintals demand, 5 quintal products were sold at the rate of 6200 rupees per quintal. Satyam says that this year, due to good crop of paddy, 25 to 30 quintals of paddy will be sold at the support price. Deputy Director Agriculture Mr. PS Kusra said that in view of the hard work and dedication for farming and farming of Satyam, this year the Department of Agriculture has provided assistance for construction of composting Nadep tank and diesel pump. Satyam is happy with his farming profession and is easily maintaining a 6- member family. At the same time, 4 children are paying attention to their studies. Satyam said that education has a different importance in life, due to which there is energy in the family. Taking this into consideration, he is getting his elder daughter Manesha Pirla studying general nursing in Dantewada. Middle son Manoj 12He is studying in class at Dantewada. Youngest son Sameer 10 th of studies is in Bhopalptnm and youngest daughter Shivani in Bijapur 5 is reading th. Satyam says that in view of the future of these children, they are now working hard in this direction with wife Salkka, paying more attention to farming. He expressed gratitude to the State Government for this year also by taking the decision of the state government to procure paddy at the support price of Rs 2500 , as a positive initiative in the interests of farmers.
