Big news: Tribal Jham Singh’s murder case in police encounter, MP government handed over investigation to CID

Raipur. September 17, 2020 . Shivraj government has taken a big action in the case of killing of tribal Jham Singh in police encounter in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh has submitted the case to CID for further investigation in the case. In this regard, Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar had written a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan twice and asked to take action. Apart from this, Governor Uike wrote a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj asking for a high-level inquiry into the case and compensation to the family of the deceased.

In fact, on September 6, two tribals Jham Singh and Naam Singh went to the jungle to kill fish in Bodla block of Kabirdham. The Madhya Pradesh Police tried to catch them, when they ran away they shot them. Jham Singh died on the spot, while Naam Singh somehow came to save his life. The Madhya Pradesh police had called this innocent tribal a Naxalite. Meanwhile, Nem Singh had complained to the local police station. After which the reality of the case came to light.

After this incident came to light, Chhattisgarh forest minister and local MLA Mohammad Akbar summoned the collector to report the case. The Collector found many such evidences in the investigation which shows that the case is of the murder of innocent Adivasi.
