Dhamtari September 23, 2020. After the action initiated by the government against the strike, the news of contractual health workers’ strike in Dhamtari is coming to an end. The strike has been withdrawn by the employees here for the last five days and they will return to work from Thursday.

It is being told that after a lengthy discussion with CMHO Dr DK Turre of NHM Union, it was decided to withdraw all the strike and return to work.

According to the information, 303 contractual health workers have given their joining to Dr. DK Turre, CMHO of Dhamtari district. CMHO reported that all contract health workers are returning to their work from tomorrow. Everyone has given their joining.

Corona investigation was being affected by contract health workers going on strike in Dhamtari district. Along with this, health services were also being affected. Employees are expected to be back on track with their return to work from tomorrow.

At the same time, the contractual health workers union’s state president Hemant Sinha said that he still has no information about this. However, he has denied the issue of postponing the strike and joining duty.

Let us tell you that 13 thousand contractual health workers of the state have been on indefinite strike for the last five days regarding their one-point demand for regularization. The government had taken sacking action against a large number of strikers, including the state president and several office bearers under the ESMA, and also directed FIRs against them. In protest, all had decided to submit their resignations to the government and on seeing this, a phase of resignations had started across the state. The union claims that more than 5 thousand health workers across the state have submitted their resignations to the CMHO in their respective districts.
