But due to lockdown, goods will not be transported. Regarding which no guidelines have been issued by the government. In such a situation, after making the goods, it will not be able to be transported. Only dump will be made as goods. The government had asked for an affidavit for employment from only 40 percent of the workers in the industries. The association has disagreed on the government’s decision citing that there is no work among so many laborers. They say that 40 percent of the workers can only do maintenance work. They cannot be used for production. The association also took strong exception to the meeting that the central and state governments have not given any relief to the industries during the lockdown. Due to which they are expressing their disagreement to be able to work. Taking a dig at the banks, he said that EMI is being deducted by the banks even after the instructions from the central government. In many states, industries have been given exemption of electricity fix charges, but no such relief has been given in Chhattisgarh. He has also expressed his displeasure over not getting any exemption regarding electricity. Through the video conferencing, members of several small and large industries associations of the state including the Urala Industries Association, Rolling Mill Association, Mini Steel Association, Bhilai Wire and Danning Association, Sponge Iron Association, participated in the meeting.
