Raipur. BJP candidate from the capital Raipur, Meenal Chaubey, made a statement which is bound to create political uproar. Meenal Chaubey said that the Congress uses Muslims in times of need and then throws them away like a fly is thrown out of milk.

Actually, the campaign for the urban body elections is going on in full swing in the state. Political parties are busy in vigorous campaigning throughout the state. In Raipur too, BJP’s mayor candidate Meenal Chaubey is reaching out to the public through road shows. Meanwhile, during the road show today, she has accused the Congress of doing vote politics on the Muslim community. Attacking the Congress, she said that the Congress always uses the Muslim community as a vote bank. When their work is over, they throw them out like a fly from milk. Congress has used people from other communities. Perhaps that is why the former mayor has disappeared out of some fear.

Meenal Chaubey has said this on the disappearance of former mayor Ejaz Dhebar from the Congress’s campaign. The BJP candidate says that the Congress has started fearing Ejaz Dhebar. That is why Ejaz Dhebar’s picture is completely missing from the posters of Congress candidate Deepti Dubey and the campaign of the councillors.

Former PCC chief Dhanendra Sahu’s statement has also come out in the matter. He has described Meenal Chaubey’s statement as BJP’s orthodox mentality which is in BJP’s DNA. He said that Congress follows the principle of Sarva Dharma Sambhav, where there is a place for every community and people of every religion are connected. He said that Ejaz Dhebar himself and his wife are also contesting the elections, due to which they are busy and have not been able to join right now. But they will definitely join the campaign in the future.
