Bilaspur. The High Court has given a big decision in the matter of posting of assistant teachers. The court has directed the government to allow teachers to join the modified schools within 10 days. Earlier, the state government had taken action to cancel the amendment, against which many teachers had filed a complaint in the High Court. Actually, the assistant teachers of the state were given promotion to the posts of teachers. After promotion, he was given designation and posting in various schools. Hundreds of teachers were posted in remote schools, against which they applied to the Education Department and got their postings modified in nearby schools. Following allegations of transactions worth lakhs of rupees in exchange for the amendment order, the government had unilaterally relieved the teachers by canceling the amendment order on September 4. Hundreds of teachers had filed a petition in the High Court regarding the cancellation of the amendment order. While hearing the case, Justice Arvind Chandel had given instructions to maintain status quo on transfer on September 11. After the court’s instructions, teachers were neither able to join the designated schools nor the modified schools. Due to this, salaries were not being released to the teachers, for which the teachers once again reached the court. ,
