Dantewada. Deepa Mandavi, daughter of late BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, has committed suicide. She was studying in a PG in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and had recently come to her home in Dantewada. The reason why Deepa committed suicide has not been revealed yet. There is a wave of grief in the entire family due to this suicidal step of Deepa.
Let us tell you that after getting information about the incident, Deepa’s family has left for Dehradun. State Women Commission member and Deepa Mandavi’s mother Ojasvi Bhima Mandavi is in deep shock at this time. Dantewada MLA Chaitram Atami, former MLA Devti Karma, District Panchayat member Tulika Karma and other Congress leaders have also reached Deepa’s house and are present with the bereaved family.
Bhima Mandavi was murdered by Naxalites
It is worth noting that Deepa’s father and BJP MLA Bhima Mandavi was murdered by Naxalites on 9 April 2019. This incident took place in Shyamgiri of Kuakonda area of Dantewada, just two days before the voting of Lok Sabha elections. Bhima Mandavi and his driver along with three policemen were also martyred in this attack. After this attack, the central government ordered an investigation by the NIA and in May 2019, the NIA registered a case in this matter.
