Joint action of Mineral, Revenue, Environment and GST Department, 50 officials involved
Raipur. Chhattisgarh government has taken a big action against the coal mafia across the state. A team of 50 officials of 4 Departments raids on differnt parts of the state. team suddenly reached the coal washery, coal depot.officilas said that they were constantly getting complaints .State level team formed by Mineral Department and joint team of Environment Department, GST, Police and Revenue Department is being done at Hind Energy, Hind Multi, Clean Coal Washeries at Gataura and Hindih and Satya Power Coal Washery at Gatauri, Feel Washery the inspection. Minerals Department constituted 10 teams to investigate all coal washeries and coal depots located in Korba, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa and Raigadh.The officers of the joint team are doing investigation by raiding the coal washeries and coal depots of Janjgir-Champa and Raigad districts.
In Korba district, a joint team of officials of Mineral, Revenue, Police and GST Department organized Coal Washery Deepka, Gevra, Chakaburra, Raiki, Ratija, Maruti, Indus Udyog & Private Limited, Kothi and Power Plant Chakabura 2×135, 2×30, Ratiza Power respectively. In 50×2, Maruti 300 MW, Reiki Power 63 MW, excessive coal stock, violation of environmental rules, deficiencies in land documents, difference in calibration of wave bridges and other deficiencies were thoroughly investigated.
