On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory Ramhepur has released a payment of Rs 6 crore 2 lakh to sugarcane farmers under FRP sugarcane payment during the festive season. In this way, a total payment of Rs 113.52 crore has been released by Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory to the farmers who sold sugarcane to the factory in the crushing season year 2023/24. The factory has released 100% payment of all the farmers who sold sugarcane in this season.
The sugarcane farmers of the region are happy after getting the amount for sugarcane sale in the holy month of Sawan and the festive season. As per previous years, 100% FRP sugarcane amount has been paid by Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory. The factory management has told that due to the awareness of the farmers of the region and supply of high quality sugarcane to the factory, recovery has also increased from last year. Due to this, this year the farmers will get more recovery amount than last year. This has brought a wave of happiness among the farmers, whose payment will also be made very soon.
is worth mentioning that the FRP recovery amount is given by the sugar factory, while the sugarcane incentive or bonus amount is given by the Agriculture Department of Chhattisgarh Government. The bonus amount is also included in the agriculture budget of Chhattisgarh Government to be given to sugarcane farmers soon.
