Minister Shri Sachin Yadav directs strict action against sellers of sub-standard manure and seed
[email protected]. A statewide campaign will be launched from November 15 to 30 to provide quality fertilizer and seeds to farmers in the Rabi season. Minister of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development and Horticulture and Food Processing Shri Sachin Yadav has instructed the Agriculture Production Commissioner to ensure strict statutory action against sellers of sub-standard fertilizer and seeds during the campaign.
Instructions have been issued to constitute adequate investigation teams in all the districts under the state-wide campaign. These teams will take samples of the fertilizer and seeds being sold in the market and to examine their quality. Based on the report of the investigation, action will be taken against sellers of sub-standard fertilizer and seed after registering case.
