Seers and saints appealed to cooperate CM Shri Kamal Nath addresses Maa Narmada Gau-Kumbh closing ceremony in Jabalpur
Bhopal/4 [email protected]. Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has said that the government will complete the Ram Path Van Gaman Nirman Yojana. He appealed to the seers and saints to cooperate in this work. Shri Nath was addressing the closing ceremony of Maa Narmada Gau Kumbh in Jabalpur today.
The Chief Minister said that soon after the formation of the government, we constituted the Department of Spirituality through which we are working towards the conservation of ancient temples and Indian culture of the state. He said that we had promised the people of the state that we would conserve the bovine. Gaushalas are being constructed in every district of Madhya Pradesh during the last 14 months. Our state is the only state in the country where such a large number of government gaushalas are being built.
The Chief Minister said that our identity and strength all over the world is due to our culture and spiritual strength. This is the basis for which we are standing under one flag amidst diversities. The Chief Minister said that the biggest challenge before us is how to connect the younger generation with our culture, values, civilization and spiritual strength. Seers and saints have always given direction and guidance to our country. I appeal to the seers and saints society to inspire the future generations of the country to adopt Indian culture and its greatness.
The Chief Minister said that the state and its people have been blessed with all-round development through Maa Narmada Gau-Kumbh. He expected that the Maa Narmada Gau-Kumbh to be held next year would be on a larger scale.
Finance Minister Shri Tarun Kumar Bhanot thanked the Chief Minister for paving the way for construction of Ram Van Gaman Path in his tenure and for the hike in price of fodder given in gaushalas from Rs. 3 to Rs. 20. A provision has been made to provide Rs 150 crore for the construction of Narmada Riverfront and Rs 20 crore and government land for the all-round development of Gwarighat Gurudwara.
Jagadguru Shyamdevacharya Maharaj said that such a huge and grand event of Maa Narmada Gau Kumbh was possible only with the cooperation of the government for which he thanked the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath.
Social Justice Minister Shri Lakhan Ghanghoria and Energy Minister in-charge of district Shri Priyavrat Singh, MP Shri Vivek Tankha also addressed the programme.
Seers honoured
Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath honoured and sought the blessings of prominent seers and saints who attended the Narmada Gau Kumbh. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was felicitated and honoured for his support in organizing the Narmada Gau Kumbh.
E-office pilot project inaugurated
Chief Minister Kamal Nath launched the pilot project of e-office system in the Divisional and Collector office of Jabalpur from the Narmada Gau-Kumbh platform by pressing the laptop button. To speed up the functioning of government offices and encourage paperless work culture, the state government has selected the Collectorate Office of Jabalpur District and Jabalpur Divisional Office as a pilot project across the state.
Bhanwartal culture theatre dedicated
The Chief Minister dedicated the Culture theatre built at a cost of Rs. 12 crore 50 lakh near Bhanwartal Park by Jabalpur Smart City Limited as a huge gift to the artists and art lovers of the city.
