Raipur. Politics in Chhattisgarh is heated on the issue of law and order. While the opposition is attacking on this issue, the ruling party is counterattacking. Amidst this issue, on Friday, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also raised the matter of Delhi Public School (DPS) located in Bhilai in a press conference at Rajiv Bhawan. Baghel has alleged that criminal incidents are constantly happening in the state, but the government has failed to stop these incidents. Incidents like theft, robbery, murder have become common, incidents of gang rape are also happening continuously.
He alleged that a four-year-old girl was molested about two months ago in the DPS school run by the Bhilai Steel Plant management. Durg police has tried to completely suppress this incident. The role of Durg police is very suspicious in this case. Along with the police, the role of BSP management and the school principal is also under question. The girl’s family is also under pressure. Even after knowing about the case, Durg SP has not yet registered an FIR in this case. At the same time, the government is also aware of this case. Because a memorandum has also been submitted to the Women and Child Development Minister by BJP workers. Despite this, no action is being taken. Our demand from the government is that Durg SP should be removed and its investigation should be done under the supervision of the court immediately.
Bhupesh Baghel should not do politics, the system was bad in the Congress government: Anurag Singhdev
Countering the allegations of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, BJP leader Anurag Singh said that Bhupesh Baghel should not do politics in this matter. The law does its work strictly in sensitive matters. And as far as the question of law and order is concerned, there is rule of law in the state, there is good governance of the government. How the law and order was in the Congress government is not hidden from anyone. There was no hearing in any case in the Congress government. The worst system was in the Congress government. Bhupesh Baghel should remember his tenure.
