Bemetara 26 September 2020. Vegetable production is being done by Muskaan Women Self Help Group in Gauthan, Gomthan of village panchayat Amora of Bemetara development block of Bemetara district. Production of bhindi, barbatti, bitter gourd, gandharfalli, brinjal, chilli, cabbage, vegetable, tomato, marigold and other vegetables has been started under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Bemetara. With the special support of Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Amora Smt. Satarupa Verma, for the vegetable production work, the income of the vegetable produced in Gowthan through the women’s self-help group will be increased in the market. Besides, technical information was also given about vegetable production, method of timely application of manure, seed medicine, spraying of medicines and other information was given to the members of the group and information was given regarding crop production. So that income can be earned by selling the crops produced. Also detailed technical information was given for crop production. Smile is being organized by the members of the Women’s Self Help Group in Gothan with the aim of continuing their participation. Which will benefit the group. Apart from this, vegetable production is also being done by the group in other Gothan villages of the development block.
