New farmers selling paddy and maize can apply for registration from August 17 to October 31
Bemetara 17 August 2020. It has been decided by the state government to validate the farmers registered in the kharif year 2019-20 for the marketing year 2020-21 for the purchase of paddy and maize in the past, under which the old registered to sell paddy and maize in the kharif year 2020-21 There is no need to come to the committee to get the farmers registered again. Farmers who had registered to sell paddy and maize in the Kharif year 2019-20, do not need new registration. The revenue of registered farmers, paddy and maize acreage and measles in the last season will be updated by the Revenue Department. For farmer registration in Kharif year 2020-21, data of farmers registered in previous year 2019-20 will be carried-forward. New farmers willing to sell paddy and maize can apply for registration from 17 August to 31 October 2020. New farmers selling paddy and maize can apply to the Tehsil office for registration along with relevant documents. If the old registered farmers want to amend their registration, then the facility to make amendments will be provided through the committee module.
According to the food department of the state government, new farmers will have to get an application from the committee for registration and fill the application in the prescribed format and submit it to the tehsil office along with the relevant documents. The land mentioned in the application, paddy-maize acreage and measles will be verified by Patwari as per revenue record. Bhuyan data base of the revenue department will also be used for verification. After examining the related records by the Tehsildar, new farmer will be registered.
In no case, the acreage of horticulture and other crops apart from paddy in the state will be registered as paddy acreage. In Chhattisgarh, other crops like sugarcane, soybean, maize, vegetables, fruits, flowers, etc. are grown during the Kharif season. Apart from this, the land of non-wasteland, fallow land, adjacent river-drains, private ponds, dabri land, raw-paved sheds made for agricultural use, etc. will be reduced from the registration of the land covered in extra measles. Farmer registration is done according to the revenue document. Hence Girdawari’s work will be made available by the Revenue Department for timely tax registration. During registration, the Aadhaar number of all the farmers will be entered with their consent. Due to not having an Aadhaar number, no farmer will be denied registration and an attempt will be made to get an Aadhaar and mobile number from every farmer at the time of Girdawari work.
