Bargarh. Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma conducted a road show in Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency of Odisha, appealing for votes in favor of BJP candidate Pradeep Purohit. After this he also addressed the election meeting in Bargarh. During this, he said that along with food, clothing and house, our self-respect is also important. Ever since the temple of Lord Ram was built, my self-respect has become complete, my chest has become 56 inches.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while addressing the huge gathering of people of Odisha, further said that in Chhattisgarh, our government gives 10 kg of food grains to every person having Antyodaya ration card. Five are from the Centre, five are from the state. In addition to the support price of paddy of Rs 2183, Rs 917 per quintal is given to the farmers by the state government. Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been started in Chhattisgarh, Rs 1000 is deposited in the account of every mother and sister every month. This has been done thrice after the formation of the new government and it will continue in the future also.
Odisha should adopt Chhattisgarh model
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that I want to humbly ask the people of Odisha, what has that old Babu, whose government they have been supporting for 25 years, done for Odisha. Odisha should adopt Chhattisgarh model.
Referring to the achievements of the Modi government, the Deputy Chief Minister said that in our own country, our Jammu and Kashmir used to be separate from the country. As soon as the BJP government came to power with full majority, Article 370 was uprooted. Then the opposition were saying in the House that rivers of blood would flow in Kashmir, but nothing like this happened there. Now people go to watch 9 to 12 movies. Now there is no stone thrower in Srinagar, everyone is busy working, everyone is getting food grains and health facilities too. Earlier Pakistan used to threaten, but ever since they entered and killed, the voice has stopped coming from there. Recently, a statement from a Congress leader came that Pakistan has nuclear bomb, do not talk about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. We say, remember that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir does not belong to anyone else, it belongs to India and will always remain India’s.
The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to form the Modi government again at the Center and said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power, 25 to 35 kilometers of national highways are built every day. When Modi ji took over the job in 2014, there used to be only 6 AIIMS in the country, today there are 21 AIIMS. Shrapnel was also imported for the army, today BrahMos missiles are being exported from our country. This huge change has come in the country. Seeing the problems of mothers and sisters, Modi ji has built toilets in every house, is giving Samman Nidhi to farmers, Modi ji’s third government has announced that three crore more Prime Minister houses will be built in the country.
