Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has released the list of 9 candidates for the assembly elections to be held in Chhattisgarh. BSP is the first list to announce its candidates first in the state. The names of the candidates have been announced for 9 assembly seats.
The BSP had won two seats last time. Both the MLAs Jaijaipur MLA Keshav Prasad Chandra and Pamgarh MLA Indu Banjare have been given tickets again.

Om Prakash Bajpai on Nawagarh SC seat, Radheshyam Suryavanshi on Janjgir Champa General seat, Keshav Prasad Chandra on Jajepur General seat, Indu Banjare on Pamgarh SC seat, Dr. Vinod Sharma on Akaltara General seat, Shyam Tandon on Bilaigarh SC seat, Beltara General seat Anand Tigga’s name is on Ramkumar Suryavanshi and Samari ST seat.

The state has 13 percent scheduled caste population and 10 assembly seats are reserved for SCs. BSP Jogi has tied up with Congress in the last election. There are similar discussions this time too.
