Raipur, 15 February 2021. The Revenue Subdivision Office was inaugurated today at Pali in Korba district under the Chief Hospitality of Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant. Revenue and disaster management minister Mr. Jaysingh Agarwal, Tribal and Scheduled Development and School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, MP of Korba Lok Sabha constituency, Smt.Jyotsna Mahant were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Dr. Mahant said that with the inauguration of Revenue Department’s subdivisional office in Pali, now the regional public will get the facility to resolve the revenue related matter. He greeted and congratulated the citizens of the area.
State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jai Singh Aggarwal while addressing the program said that the direction of ensuring access of public benefit schemes of the state government to the people at the end of the society and to facilitate the access of the people to the government administration for revenue related works. Subdivisional officer office starting in Pali from today will play an important role. The Revenue Minister further said that now farmers and common citizens of Pali region will not need to go to District Headquarters Korba for their land related problems and the solution to their problems is SDM. Headquarters will be possible only from Pali. The Revenue Minister thanked the Chief Minister of the state Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for the gift of the subdivisional revenue office in Pali and said that it is a big gift to the people of Pali region.
Significantly, Pali was formerly operating as a tehsil and due to the SDM office located at Katghora, farmers and general public were required to go to Katghora to deal with land related problems. Now their problems will be resolved at the poly level itself. Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal has congratulated and greeted the citizens of the area at the inauguration of the Department Office. On this occasion, Korba District Collector Smt. Kiran Kaushal presented his detailed report regarding the Gram Panchayats etc. under the subdivision office shift.
