Panic among people after getting first corona patient in Surajpur
The youth, who was found corona positive in Surajpur, was a resident of Jharkhand and the youth was trapped in Surajpur under lockdown. Recently, the administration team caught him close to the border during the lockdown and placed him in the quarantine again. Randomly tests of people kept in quarantine are being conducted by the collector. The young man’s sample was sent to Mekahara in Raipur, where his report has been positive. As soon as the district administration received this information, the youth has been isolated in a separate room in the Quarantine Center, while the samples of the people who came in contact with the youth are being taken. Not yet corona symptoms have emerged in the young man. These are the first corona positive cases in the Surguja region, although the youth is not directly connected to Chhattisgarh. The total corona positive patients in Chhattisgarh now stands at 38, out of which 34 patients have gone home after getting healthy. Four active cases are currently in the state.
