Then on the way the villagers attacked them and after beating them, they took them to Khudia police post. None of the officers present with Prabal at the time of the attack tried to intervene and kept watching as silent spectators.
Let us tell you that Deputy Ranger Prabal Dubey has already been booked for crimes under the Atrocity Act. Action was taken against him a few months ago also. In this matter, the tribal society has warned of fierce agitation if immediate action is not taken against the Deputy Ranger, while the Deputy Ranger has also demanded action against those who assaulted him.

Regarding this incident, the victim ranger Prabal Dubey told that a few months ago the elephant had died after getting hit by a live wire in Khudia forest.
