Allegation of conversion under the guise of prayer meeting, residents of Riddhi Siddhi Colony complained in the police station

 Rajnandgaon. A case of religious conversion has come to light in Riddhi-Siddhi Colony of Rajnandgaon city. The colony residents have complained about the matter to Basantpur police station. In this case, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have demanded strict action against those who carry out religious conversions.

In the complaint lodged at Basantpur police station, residents of Riddhi-Siddhi Colony of Rajnandgaon city said that for the last few months, prayer meetings are being organized by the Christian community on Sundays in a Kerala building located in the colony. In this, people of Hindu community are being converted on the pretext of removing the obstacles from ghosts and by luring them with money.

 

On the complaint of Riddhi-Siddhi Colony residents, Prabha Mandle and Mahendra Mandle of Kerala Bhavan were summoned to the police station by the police. Prabha Mandle and Mahendra Mandle told the police that religious conversion is not being done, they said that we organize prayer meetings on Sunday peacefully. People come to this meeting with many problems, whose problems are solved.

 

He said that even today, being Sunday, a prayer meeting was being organised, during which some people came and started assaulting the people present there. The electronic equipment there was vandalized. In this matter, Basantpur police station in-charge Satya Narayan Dewangan said that a complaint has been received, on which action will be taken after investigation.

In this matter, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s department minister Arun Gupta said that people of Hindu community are being forcefully converted and the Bible is being taught to them forcefully. He said that strict action should be taken against those who carry out religious conversions.
