Raipur. Agrawal Sabha Raipur’s unit Agrawal Yuva Mandal and Sky TMT organized a two-day Agrawal Badminton League. The two-day event was inaugurated by Basna MLA Sampat Agarwal on June 8. Many people from the society including Agrawal Sabha President Vijay Agarwal, Kailash Murarka, Kishan Agarwal etc. were present at the inaugural ceremony. BJP State Treasurer Nandanlal Jain, Sky TMT Director Ravi Singhal made their presence felt in the event to encourage and motivate the players.
Youth Board President Ram Agarwal said that this competition will be organized every year to make the youth aware of sports and to unite the society. Program in-charge Sandeep Agarwal said that more than 250 participants from 5 to 60 years of age participated in this program in 10 categories and more than 250 matches were played. Players from not only Raipur but also from various cities of the state registered their presence in this program of every category. Not only this, the grandeur of the program can also be gauged from the fact that players who have played at the district, state and national level also participated in this competition with full zeal and enthusiasm and showed a positive sportsmanship.
Youth Mandal General Secretary Saurabh Agrawal said that the program concluded on June 9 in the presence of CK Khaitan, former Additional Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Government. All the winners were awarded by CK Khaitan. CK Khaitan praised this program of Agrawal Yuva Mandal and explained the importance of sports in human life and in uniting the society and also shared his views on social issues.
