Dhamtari: September 19, 2020. Collector Jai Prakash Maurya has said that from Tuesday 22 September, all wards of all the urban bodies of Dhamtari district should be made a container zone in view of safety and prevention from corona infection. He discussed in detail about the infection and prevention of Kovid 19 from the delegation of the trade unions today and also designed a framework for prevention of corona infection in the Containment Zone. He informed that from Tuesday, all wards will be made a containment zone, but before that the staff of the urban body will be required to give information to the people in this regard, so that people do not suffer unnecessarily.

 

In the meeting, the collector informed that no grocery, vegetable, fruit shops will be opened in these containment zones, but institutes / offices, hospitals, nursing homes will be open for essential services. The gas agency will remain open during its scheduled period and medical, petrol pumps will be open round the clock. The time for milk has been fixed from 6 am to 10 am. With this, all the tourist places of the district, whether it is in the urban body or rural area, will also remain closed during these ten days.

 

From the delegation present in the meeting, the collector expected that during these ten days, he will work to bring awareness among people about Kovid 19, in which social distance, wearing masks and importance of sanitization will be explained to the people. The delegation also agreed that they will make every effort to bring awareness among businessmen and people. If after these ten days when all the trade will start again and the traders do not follow the protocol of Kovid 19, then the traders association will take cognizance itself and take appropriate action on them.

 

Apart from this, the Collector of the urban body has also been directed by the collector to get the sanitation of the urban bodies in place during the Containment Zone period. At the end of the meeting, he appealed to the district residents not to leave unnecessary homes and whenever they go out of work, they must use masks and follow social distance and protect themselves and their family from Kovid 19. Sharad Lohana, Mahesh Rohra, Narendra Rohra, Mahesh Jasuja, Hari Wadhwani, Vijay Golchha etc. were present in the meeting.
