 Mungeli. After the news of newly elected Bilaspur MP Tokhan Sahu becoming a Union Minister, people of his native village in Dindori of Mungeli district are celebrating with pomp and show.
Tokhan Sahu, who grew up in a rural environment, has been an MLA before becoming an MP. Despite this, he did not leave the village. Even today his entire family resides in Dindori village. He started politics as a Panch in the village and joined Modi’s cabinet. Before reaching here, he first became a Panch, Sarpanch, Zilla Parishad member, MLA and now after becoming an MP, he became a Union Minister. In a special conversation with Lalluram, Tokhan Sahu’s villagers say that the area has developed since he entered politics.His brother Tarshwer Sahu said that Tokhan Sahu being made a minister in the Union Cabinet is a matter of pride for his village and the Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency. He thanked the people of Bilaspur and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. There is an
