Rajnandgaon 26 June 2024. Schools have opened from today as soon as the summer vacation of school children ended. As per the instructions of Collector Shri Sanjay Agarwal, Shala Praveshotsav was celebrated with great pomp on the first day of school in the district. District level officers participated in the Praveshotsav program organized in various schools and encouraged the children. Additional Collector Shri CL Markandey attended the Praveshotsav program organized in Government Primary School and Secondary School Mundgaon of Dongargarh development block. On this occasion, Mother Saraswati was worshiped and children were admitted to school by applying Tilak. Free textbooks and uniforms were distributed to the children. Children were fed Kheer-Puri in the midday meal. 60 out of 65 children of primary school and 45 out of 54 children of secondary school participated in Praveshotsav. On this occasion Sarpanch Mrs. Sevati Katlam, SMC President Mr. Dwarika Sinha, Secretary Mr. Narad Sonwani and teachers Mr. Mahendra Deshlahare, Richa Tang, Mr. Linesh Paikra, Hemlata Sinha, Mr. Dinesh Deshlahare, Mr. Dhanesh Netam were present.
