Raipur. The summer vacation period in schools has now started. In such a situation, Adani Foundation organized a seven-day summer camp at the Ripa Center of village Tarashiv to hone different types of extra-curricular skills among the village children. More than 250 school children from six nearby gram panchayats participated in this camp organized from 3rd to 9th May under the social participation of Adani Power Limited, Raipur. The main objective of the summer camp was a rainbow effort to develop the mental, physical, intellectual qualities of the children through various types of arts and crafts, sports, dance etc. to make the village children active, interesting and educational at the local level.
The camp was inaugurated by Manish Verma, Sarpanch of village Tarashiv. During this, Manager Vibhas Karmakar, Assistant Engineer Abu Salem from Adani Power Limited Raipur, Program Manager Deepak Kumar Singh of Adani Foundation and Educational Program Director Preeti Prajapati were present. During this, Sarpanch Manish Verma appreciated the efforts of Adani Foundation for the all-round development of children and thanked the foundation team.
In the camp, all the children were provided color paper, chart paper, glue stick sketch, pencil, fevicol, cotton, colored threads and various functional materials for decoration. From these, children learned to make many types of beautiful flowers, leaves, pots, bird houses, letters, wall hangings, vases, science models etc. Along with this, an all-round effort was made for the physical, mental, moral and social development of children through music, dance and simple yoga steps etc.

In which a successful effort is being made to improve the future of children by improving basic education through Navodaya Coaching, Bala Painting, Summer Camp etc.
