Kanker. Two innocent children died after drowning in a pond in Kirgoli village of the district. Both the children had gone to take bath in the village pond. During this time this accident happened. The bodies of both the innocent children were brought to the district hospital, where after post-mortem the bodies will be handed over to the family tomorrow morning.
It is being told that both the children Sahil Markam, 6 years old and Dipendra Sinha, 8 years old, left the house at around 12 noon. When both the children did not return till 2 pm, the family started searching. Then the clothes of both were found lying near the pond outside the village. After this, with the help of the villagers, the pond was searched, from where the bodies of both were recovered. The deceased Dipendra Sinha was a resident of Udakuda village near Kirgoli, who had come to his grandmother’s house in Kirgoli.Villagers said that there were two more children along with the two deceased children, who fled to their homes in fear of the incident. Kotwali in-charge Manish Nagar said that both of them had died before they could be brought to the hospital. The bodies will be handed over to the family members after post-mortem tomorrow morning.
