In this episode, orthopedic specialist Dr. Shreyansh Parikh has created a new record in the district hospital by successfully operating a serious and complicated bone cancer. This has happened for the first time in the district hospital Mungeli. If the same treatment had been done in a private hospital, the patient would have had to spend lakhs of rupees.

Dr. Shreyansh Parikh informed that 12 year old Harsh Patre, a resident of Fandwani in Mungeli, was complaining of swelling and pain in his left leg for some time. Harsh’s family consulted Dr. Shreyansh Parikh, a bone specialist at District Hospital Mungeli. After a thorough examination, Dr. Parikh advised him to undergo biopsy, the report of which confirmed the presence of bone lump (cancer). On the basis of the report, Dr. Parikh assured the family and advised them to undergo surgery. After the consent of the family, the cancerous lump was successfully removed from Harsh’s leg through a completely complex operation on 31 August. The team of the orthopedics and anesthesia department, including Dr. Parikh, played an important role in this.Civil surgeon Dr. MK Rai said that bone cancer is a serious disease and if not treated at the right time, its consequences are fatal. Congratulating Dr. Shreyansh Parikh and the entire team, Dr. Rai called the first successful treatment of cancer a major achievement of District Hospital Mungeli and encouraged the doctors.
