A bus full of 65 devotees from Chhattisgarh went out of control and fell into a deep pit on the side of the road in Firozabad, UP. In this accident, 3 people including a woman and a girl died. While 35 people were injured. CM Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma expressed grief over this incident and asked the officials to provide all possible help.
According to the information, this accident happened on Lucknow Agra Expressway in Nasirpur police station area at 3 am on Saturday. Police has admitted all the injured to the district hospital. Devotees from Chhattisgarh were going from Vrindavan to Prayagraj by private bus.
Went to Vrindavan after visiting Vaishno Devi
Nasirpur Inspector Sher Singh said that all the people travelling in the bus are from Chhattisgarh. They had come to Vrindavan after visiting Vaishno Devi. They left for Prayagraj from Vrindavan at 1 am. The accident happened due to the driver dozing off. Local people informed about the accident.
The bus was pulled out of the ditch with a crane
As soon as I got the information, I reached the spot with the force. All the passengers were taken out of the bus with the help of the local people. A woman and a girl died on the spot. The injured have been admitted to Firozabad Medical College. The accident was so severe that the bus was badly damaged. The policemen called for a crane and got the bus out of the ditch.
CM Sai expressed grief
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has expressed grief over this accident. He has written that out of the 65 devotees travelling in the bus, three have died and 30 people are reported to be injured. Arrangements have been made for the treatment of the injured in the District Joint Hospital Shikohabad and Firozabad Medical College.
After talking to the district administration, the doctors have been instructed to take proper care. Necessary instructions have been given to the higher officials on this. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai sent a team
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has sent a team led by MLA Prabodh Minj to Lucknow from New Delhi to ensure better treatment of the injured and to coordinate with the Uttar Pradesh government. The team includes other MLAs and Residential Commissioner Shruti Singh.

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma said that there is sad news of 3 people dying and more than 30 getting injured due to the overturning of a bus full of devotees from Chhattisgarh in a horrific road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The injured are being treated at Medical College Firozabad and Saifai. Efforts are being made to provide better treatment and all possible help to the injured devotees by constantly contacting the Uttar Pradesh government. May God give peace to the departed souls.
