Raipur, 4 May 2021. Public Relations Commissioner Shri Taran Prakash Sinha said at the state level virtual meeting of District Public Relations Officers today that Public Relations Officer should carry out public awareness campaign in this challenging time of Kovid-19 to get more people vaccinated and adopt Kovid Approved Behavior. He said that representatives of public representatives, social organizations, religious leaders should be included in this awareness campaign. He instructed to disseminate the helpline number in all the districts, information about the measures being taken by the district administration to provide relief to the people along with the availability of beds. He asked the doctors to spread the publicity through social media by taking the advice of doctors and preparing their videos on the topics of need for home isolation, how to remain in isolation, use of medicines, when the patient needs to reach the hospital.

The Public Relations Commissioner said that positive news, videos and photos should be made available on social media. Public useful information and motivational story should be released on WhatsApp as well as Facebook and Twitter handles. Mr. Sinha advised the public relations officers to take care of their own and their family’s safety. He said that efforts should be made to bring information about prevention and prevention of corona infection, advice of doctors, how people can seek help in times of crisis, to all district public relations officers, Mitananos, Gram Panchayat Secretaries, Patwaris, join the WhatsApp group of agricultural extension officers of the Department of Agriculture and send useful information from time to time in this group. He found more patients recovering at home isolation,

Shri Sinha directed to prepare the cases of the deceased journalists in the districts including the departed officers of the department on priority basis so that they can be provided prompt assistance after the decision is taken by the state government.

The Public Relations Commissioner appreciated the work being done by the District Public Relations Officers in the Corona crisis and advised them to work with security and confidence. In the meeting, a tribute was paid to the departed officers-employees of the department by keeping a silence of 2 minutes.

District Public Relations Officers of all the districts including Additional Director Shri J.L. Daryo and Mr. Umesh Mishra, Joint Director Mr. Sanjeev Tiwari, Mr. Alok Dev, Mr. Santosh Maurya and Mrs. Harsha Puranik attended the meeting.
