Raipur, 03 May 2021. The state government is continuously expanding health facilities for the prevention of corona infection and for better treatment of corona patients. In this episode, the facility of oxygen beds has been expanded in the Gariaband District Hospital today with two new ambulances.
The Chief Medical and Health Officer informed that the Gariaband district has received two new ambulances through the initiative of the district administration. This will facilitate the transportation of patients. Similarly, the number of oxygen beds has also been increased. There are now 90 oxygenated beds in the district. Now 50 beds have been oxygenated at Dedicated Hospital Livelihood College, 30 beds have been connected to Central Line Oxygen at the same Kovid Care Center Polytechnic. 10 beds have been made oxygen-rich in the district hospital. Efforts are also on for five ventilators and five ICU beds for better treatment of patients. It is noteworthy that 11 thousand 322 patients have been recovered in the district so far, while there are 3528 active cases, who are undergoing treatment in home isolation and Kovid Hospital.
