Gariaband 29 April 2021. Collector Nileshkumar Kshirsagar reviewed the corona control works in the district at a virtual meeting of the officers today, and gave necessary guidelines to the officers. Collector said that people will have to do maximum testing by tracing for corona control. So far, positive patients have been identified in the district through antigen tests. Along with the antigen test, the RTPCR test will also have to be done in large numbers. He said that if the person has any problem like headache, fever or body pain etc., Kovid test should be done before treatment. The Collector instructed all the SDMs to conduct corona checks of more people than the target, focusing on the corona investigation in the concerned area. He said that the area where more positive cases were coming before, but now the cases have come down. Random investigation should be done there too. Collector said that hospitals should have a good system to refer patients, BM O & CMHO Ensure necessary initiative. He said that the officials should get a thorough study of the feedback received from the government level regarding corona control. Work has to be done on the same lines in the district also. The Collector said that all the SDMs, CMHOs and BMOs should ensure that corona medicinal pests are available with the Mitanins. Oximeters should also be made available to the Mitanins by purchasing the oximeter as per the requirement. Adequate medicines should be made available to those living in home isolation. Also, people living in isolation of large villages or towns should be monitored. Such people should be isolated till the completion of the stipulated time period. The collector said that without waiting for the instructions of the government, the work of making a list according to the voter list in the district for vaccination for the age group of more than 18 years should be started, along with initial 01, Action plan for vaccination should be prepared by 02 and 03 May. The Collector instructed the officers to bring progress in the first and second dose vaccine to all the people above 45 years of age. He said that with the help of local public representatives, people should be made aware and get the vaccine completed on time. CMHO and all the SDMs were directed to take necessary initiatives under the guidance of the Zilla Panchayat CEO in order to increase the oxygen beds in the Kovid Centers of the district as per the requirement.
