Raipur, 27 April 2021. The state government is determined to vaccinate all citizens in the age group of 18 to 45 years. For this, the state government has ordered 50 lakh doses of vaccine to both the vaccine producers (Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech) as the first installment. As soon as the vaccine is received, the beneficiaries of the age group of 18 to 45 years will be promptly vaccinated in the state. For this, training of vaccinators of all the districts of the state is also being done. Vaccination to be done at the government center will be completely free.
Initially, the beneficiaries will get the facility of online registration only through Kovin app and Arogya Setu app for registration for vaccination of citizens in the age group of 18 to 45 years according to the instructions of the central government – by accessing the session site and register on-site. There will be no provision for going.
Currently, some of the vaccine doses received by the state from the Center are being given to them on payment basis as per demand of private institutions. But as per the instructions of the Central Government, these vaccine doses will not be given to private institutions from May 1, 2021. Private institutions of the state will also be able to purchase vaccines from vaccine producers themselves and vaccinate all eligible citizens for the third phase of vaccination starting from 1 May 2021. Industrial institutes where there is no suitable hospital can be vaccinated by mapping Kovid-19 with the currently working private Kovid vaccination center.
