Raipur: Guidelines issued for screening of Kovid test for travelers coming to Chhattisgarh state

Raipur 23 April 2021. On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, General Administration Department has related to the Covid Test investigation for all the commuters coming to Chhattisgarh state in the context of control of new variant of Novel Corona virus to all Divisional Commissioners, Inspector General of Police, Collectors and Superintendents of Police. Guidelines have been issued in It is mentioned in the guidelines issued that it will be mandatory for all passengers arriving by air, rail or road in the state to submit a Kovid Negative Report within 72 hours. If the report is negative, entry can be allowed in the state of Chhattisgarh. Those travelers who have negative COVID report and do not have symptoms of COVID-19, are given home as per SOP of Health Department.
Instructions should be made for quarantine. Passengers who have a negative Kovid report and have symptoms of Kovid-19, all such persons should be re-examined Kovid-19. If found positive in the investigation, action should be taken for treatment according to the SOP of the Health Department. Negative travelers should be given treatment according to medical advice and isolate / quarantine should be done as per advice, but those with negative symptoms in the test. All those persons who do not have a Kovid Negative Report,
should make necessary Kovid test including health test by making testing kiosks in the barrier / outpost located at the airport, railway station and roadways coming from the border state The expenses of the inquiry will be borne by the passenger himself.

After finding Kovid-19, the persons found positive should be sent to Homeisolation / Kovid Care Center / Dedicated Kovid Hospital immediately for treatment as per the requirement. Negative travelers should be given treatment according to medical advice and isolate / quarantine as per SOP of Health Department. For the other state residents who have to be quarantined, the expenses will have to be borne by the passengers themselves. According to the above, the private sector patholab for rapid antigen testing for the provision of Kovid test is being provided by the Government of India and ICMR. According to the guidelines issued and permission should be given to check at the rates fixed by the Government of Chhattisgarh. Testing kiosks should be set up accordingly. All those who do not have a negative Kovid negative report and no symptoms of Kovid-19 were found after testing kiosk scanning, They should be institutionalized quarantine as per SOP of Health Department. For this, arrangements should be made by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department in rural areas and Urban Administration Department in urban areas to make quarantine (paid / free) to the passengers as per the guidelines issued earlier.

Quarantine arrangement for the residents of Chhattisgarh, according to the pre-directive, should be followed by Covid analogous behavior such as masking, two yards, hand hygiene etc. in the examination centers of the airport, railway station and the road coming from the border state. In the barrier / check post at the border, a temporary holding area should be created for the passengers to stay so that they can be checked for health / physical testing by following social, physical distancing. In this, drinking water and food arrangements, shade should be made as per the requirement. For passengers who do not have transport facility, arrangements should be made to reach Kovid Care Center / Dedicated Kovid Hospital / Quarantine Center. Arrangement of funds for quarantine center and transport system etc. can be done with various items according to the prior financial year.

It should be ensured that the travelers who are going to other states by road be installed with a sticker to this effect so that those passengers do not stop within the state. These instructions will be applicable from 27 April. Instructions have been given to ensure necessary arrangements immediately for compliance with the guidelines issued by the border districts.
