In a virtual meeting held at his residence office here today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reviewed the current status of corona infection, measures for their prevention and arrangements made for the treatment of patients in 10 districts of the state. The Chief Minister instructed all the collectors to strictly arrange the passengers coming from outside the airport as well as railway stations, bus stands and inter-state borders and keep them in quarantine center, isolation and send them to the hospital as required. The Chief Minister said that the officials and employees of the administration, including medical staff, representatives of various organizations are working with great efforts for prevention of corona infection. In such a situation, it is necessary that after testing the checkpoint of the migrants coming from outside, the infected people should be identified and appropriate treatment should be done so that the infection does not spread to these people.

The Chief Minister said that in the rural areas where more infection cases are coming up, in the villages, they have instructed to conduct special campaigns to check every person, test them separately, and arrange for their monitoring. Arrangements should be made to advise quarantine and home isolators through telemedicine. For this, the control room should be activated. Instructing to strictly follow the lockdown, he said that there should be no crowd in the square. Inter-state borders adjoining all districts should be sealed. He also directed that strict action should be taken against those who propagate the propaganda. It should be ensured that health workers and frontline workers strictly follow the guidelines of Kovid-19 to avoid infection. Also health worker, The commendable work being done by frontline workers and social organizations should be widely disseminated. So that the atmosphere of negativity is not created, take special care of it.

The Chief Minister said that social organizations, industrialists and business people are also cooperating with the administration in this time of crisis. We are constantly in touch with them, collectors also keep communicating with people from different sections from time to time. It should also be kept in mind that there should be no disturbance in meeting the essential needs of the general public. He instructed the senior officers of the Health Department to keep the availability of essential medical devices, including testing kits, oxygen cylinders, Remedisvir, and necessary medicines continuously. Black marketing of essential medicines should be strictly prohibited. In all the districts, the recruitment of medical staff should be done immediately as per the need.

In the virtual meeting, the Chief Minister took necessary medicines including availability of oxygen beds, availability of oxygen cylinders, treatment of patients, treatment of Ramdasivir injection in 10 districts Raipur, Durg, Bemetra, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh, Balodabazar, Jashpur and Korba districts Reviewed the availability, arrangement of necessary equipment from CSR items and other items. He gave necessary instructions to all collectors regarding the continuous supply of oxygen cylinders in their respective districts and storage of essential medicines, mining and intensive testing operations in industrial areas. The Chief Minister said that the virus is getting infected faster than other strains and it is also taking more time for the patients to recover. Keeping this in mind, ensure every necessary arrangement for prompt treatment of patients in the districts. Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev instructed to ensure all the arrangements as per the requirement in all the districts. He informed about the status of infection of Kovid-19 in the state and progress of vaccination.

Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain and Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi were present at the Chief Minister’s residence during the meeting.
