Kondagaon: People will be investigated by creating micro containment zone

Kondagaon 17 April 2021. A meeting of the District Task Force was held today under the chairmanship of Collector Pushpendra Kumar Meena and Superintendent of Police Siddharth Tiwari. In this meeting, SDM and Tehsildar from all development blocks including Forest Officer, Uttam Gupta, SDM BR Dhruv, CHMO TR Kunwar, Tehsildar Gautam Chand Patil, Nagar Palika Parishad CMO Suraj Sidar, SDOP Kapil Chandra, DPM Sonal Dhruv, ADF Siva Chitta attended from. In this meeting, the Collector asked to emphasize on creation of micro containment zone, active surveillance and vaccination to establish effective control over corona infection. In the current situation of the district, the nodal officers created for the identification and better management of the infected have been instructed to speed up the contact tracing along with testing.
During this time, the Superintendent of Police launched a campaign against those who do not wear masks, who do not follow social distancing, and intensified the operation, along with those who did not follow the rules of home isolation and who opened the shop despite being a corona positive patient in the family. The police officers were instructed to take action against the district administration by filing an FIR against them and recovering the fine.
The Collector asked people to check the corona of the people and shops around the patients found corona positive under the micro containment zone, as well as those who reside inside the micro containment zone and refuse corona examination. They have been instructed to consider such people as corona infected and put them in home isolation. These micro containment zones will be decided by SDM and Tehsildar. It will often be built by combining 5 to 10 houses in the vicinity.

In case of not having an oximeter, the hospital will have to go
through the task force. In this meeting, the patients who want to go to home isolation will get medicines from hospitals and they will not be allowed to go to home isolation only if they have oximeter. Often, corona-infected deaths are seen as oxygen levels drop. In addition, home isolation will not be allowed to patients with comorbid condition.
During this, the Collector has instructed all the government employees that if they are getting any type of corona symptoms then they should not come to the office and get their corona checked and share the report of the investigation. Under the vaccination campaign, vaccination is being done every day by going from village to village. Vaccination campaign was slowed due to low supply of vaccines in the past, but now the vaccination campaign will be conducted rapidly after getting the vaccine again from the government.
All types of shops will be closed at 03 o’clock
From today, this task force has also decided to close all types of shops at 3:00 pm. After 3:00 pm, only the medicine shops will be able to open, with the rest of the shops closed, if a person is found wandering on the streets without reason, then a fine of Rs 500 will be taken against him. While taking medicines, the person must have a doctor’s prescription.
