Raipur: Health Minister Mr. Singhdev reviewed the status of Kovid-19 in Janjgir-Champa

Raipur. 9 April 2021. The Minister in-charge of Panchayat and Rural Development, Health and Janjgir-Champa district,  T.S. Singhdev reviewed the status of Kovid-19 in Janjgir-Champa district from a video conference today. He discussed with district administration, municipal councilors and various social and civic organizations effective measures for prevention of corona infection in the district. Mr. Singhdev instructed the district administration to increase the number of beds with oxygen facility in testing, Kovid hospitals and care centers and to provide all necessary facilities to the patients being treated in home isolation. He appealed for active support from social and civic organizations to control the corona infection.

In the video conference, Mr. Singhdev reviewed the progress of vaccination and availability of vaccines in Janjgir-Champa district. He also reviewed the treatment arrangements, contact tracing, availability of medicines and beds with oxygen facility in the district. He said that the growing trend of infection needs attention. Positive rates of more than five percent in a row are a matter of concern. He asked the people coming from outside to do RTPCR investigation and isolate them.

Minister in-charge of Janjgir-Champa district, Mr. Singhdev told in the video conference that Chhattisgarh is among the leading states in the country in the examination and vaccination of corona samples. More than ten percent of the population has been given the first dose of vaccine. More than 40 thousand samples are being examined every day across the state. He said that corona may occur even after vaccination. Immunity comes 70 days after vaccination. The probability of death from infection after vaccination is slim. He called upon people to motivate Kovid appropriate behavior throughout.

Mr. Singhdev appealed to the heads of various societies and civic organizations involved in the video conference to provide active support and guidance in the challenging times of the Corona transition. He also inquired about the arrangements made during the upcoming Navratri and Ramadan from the district administration and the officials of the Municipal Corporation. He instructed to ensure the investigation of people and laborers coming from outside in rural areas.
