Korba: Time changed for shops to open and close again due to Corona infection, Collector issued instructions: Now business establishments and shops will open only from six in the morning to three in the afternoon.

Korba 08 April 2021. In order to control the rapidly growing Corona infection in Korba district, the district administration has once again changed the opening and closing time of all types of shops and business establishments. Now, all types of permanent and temporary shops in all the civic bodies of the district will open at six in the morning and close at three in the afternoon. Similarly, food and breakfast will be allowed in restaurants, hotels and dhabas from 8 am to 3 pm. But the facility of pick up parcel and take away and home delivery will remain till 9 pm. Chowpatty and temporary handcrafts will also be closed at three in the afternoon. Collector Smt. Kiran Kaushal has issued necessary orders in this regard to control the increasing infection of Corona in the district. This order will be applicable in all the five urban body areas of the district.
In the order issued, the shopkeepers have been given the responsibility to control the crowd during shoplifting and follow the Kovid protocol and get the customers to follow them. Violations of the Kovid Protocol, gathering crowds in shops, not following social distancing, buying and selling without masks will bring strong action against the concerned persons as well as the shopkeepers. The district administration has also appealed to all social media operators to take due diligence and special precautions in publishing or making news viral regarding Corona.
As per the order issued, petrol pumps and medical stores will be free from this control and will open at their scheduled time. All traders and their employees including customers will also be required to wear masks during purchase. It will also be mandatory to follow social distancing in all business activities. In front of all the shops, shopkeepers will have to print the flakes themselves and display the time of opening and closing of the shops. It will be mandatory for all traders to keep masks to sell in their shop so that the masks can be sold to the customers who come to shop without wearing masks, only after that the items are purchased. It will be mandatory to keep sanitizer in each shop for the use of self and visitors. If a container zone is declared in a market or an area, then all businesses and shops in that area will be closed. All the rules of the Containment Zone in that area It will be compulsory to follow. If any condition is violated by any of the above conditions by a trader, then the shop will be sealed for 15 days and statutory action will also be taken under the Penalty or Pandemic Act as prescribed by the rules.
Collector Smt. Kaushal has instructed all the SDMs, City Magistrates, CSP, SDOP, Tehsildars and Thanedars to make continuous visits to their area of ​​charge for the implementation of this order. He has ordered all the incident commanders, zone commissioners and thanedars to ensure effective control in all the containment zones of their area of ​​charge. Criminal and statutory action will be taken against the person or establishment violating the order under Section 188 of Indian Penal Code 1860, Section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Section 3 of Pandemic Control Act 1897.
Daily review and sharp eye on Corona – Collector Smt. Kiran Kaushal has said that the administration has a keen eye on corona infection and vaccination in the district. Situations are being reviewed in the district level task force meeting every day. The state of Corona infection is currently under the control of the administration. Work is being done to rapidly develop and prepare resources for the fight against Corona. The administration is working seriously to speed up corona vaccination in the district as well as to increase facilities for treatment of the infected. Mrs Kaushal informed that the average of corona infection in the last one week is between 225 to 250 per day, which is under control. Circumstances are still under the control of the administration, therefore, by not deciding the complete lockdown, the opening time of the market has been cut by three hours. A lockdown will be decided in view of the Corona transition in the coming days.
