Chhattisgarhi film getting national award is a matter of pride for the state: Ms. Uike
Raipur, 25 March 2021. Governor Manoj Verma and the cast of the Chhattisgarhi film ‘Bhulan the Mage’ met courtesy the Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike today at Raj Bhavan here. The Governor congratulated Verma and his entire team on receiving the Best Film Award in the Regional category under the National Film Award. The Governor also honored Verma and other artists. He said that it is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh that a film made in our state and based on the plot of the state has received this award. This is the result of hard work and dedication of your entire team. I wish you all a bright future. You keep working hard in this way and make the name of Chhattisgarh famous all over the world. The Governor suggested that the social problems and Naxalite problem of Chhattisgarh, Make a film based on reason and its solution. He assured to help National Film Award-winning films in Chhattisgarh and to provide as much help as possible for the development of Chhattisgarhi films here.
Filmmaker-director Verma said that the film is based on the novel ‘Bhulan Kanda’ by writer Mr. Sanjeev Bakshi. ‘Bhulan Kanda’ is such a vegetation found in the forest of Chhattisgarh, on which a person loses his or her mind by putting feet and until someone reminds him, his memory does not come back. It is a film based on the differences between social systems. The film carries a sarcasm on the social system and system. The film is made in 34 days, which is of two hours and 10 minutes duration. We had to face many problems while making this film, but due to the hard work, dedication and will of the whole team, we were able to produce this film. Artists Mr. Pushpendra Singh and Mrs. Anuradha Dubey were also present on the occasion.
