Raipur, 24 March 2021. Dr. S. Anusuiya Uike, Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raj Bhavan here today. K. Patil met and provided herbal gulal offering form in Dantewada Krishi Vigyan Kendra. The Governor congratulated him and said that the work being done by the Agricultural University is a good effort. This will protect against damage from chemical dyes in Holi. Vice Chancellor Dr. Patil said that this herbal gulal has been created by the Women’s Self Help Group, Those who have been trained by Dantewada Krishi Vigyan Kendra and have been formed by groups in the center itself. This provides employment to women self-help groups and generates substantial income. It is completely eco friendly and its use is health-safe. Chemical in Gulal causes eye irritation and headache, but herbal Gulal does not cause this problem. This herbal gulaal is also available for sale at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Raipur.
