Distinguished citizens including MPs , MLAs, dignitaries gave blessings to newcomers

Janjgir-Champa 20 March 2019. Mass marriage was organized in the high school campus of Gram Panchayat Sarkhas of Nawagarh development block under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana today . The marriage of 17 couples of the district was done in the full month of zeal according to religious rituals. Lok Sabha MP Mr. Guharam Ajle , MLA Janjgir-Champa Mr. Narayan Prasad Chandel , District Panchayat Member and Chairman Mrs. Jayakanta Rathore , Mrs. Kusum Kamal Saw , Vice President of Municipality Janjgir-Naila, Mr. Ashutosh Goswami , District Member Mrs. Fulmat Bai , Engineer Ravi Pandey Giving gifts to the new couples and wishing them a happy home life.

On this occasion, MP Guharam Ajaglle said that economically weaker families with economic difficulties of prevention and to marry the girl to stop squandering that on the occasion of marriages and dignified , in a prestigious environment organized mass marriages , the program Is the main objective.

MLA Shri Chandel while wishing the bride and groom said that the girls of the economically weaker sections of the family have been married in an enthusiastic atmosphere. There is full support of the dignitaries and officials in such events. District Panchayat members, Mrs. Jayakanta Rathore , Mrs. Kusum Kamal Saw , Engineer Mr. Ravi Pandey , Sarpanch Mr. Lochan Prasad also addressed the program and wished the new couples a happy married life.

Women and Child Development Department, District Program Officer Mrs. Preeti Khokhar Ckiar said austere marriages promotion , economically morale of families of vulnerable groups , self-esteem enhancement and is the main reason for dowry prevention of evils Chief marriage plans. Families living below the poverty line , maximum two girls above the age of 18 years are benefited under this scheme under the Mukhyamantri Khadyan Yojana . Under the scheme, there is a provision to spend a maximum amount of Rs 25,000 for the marriage of each girl . Of this, an amount of Rs. 5,000 on makeup for bride and groom., Rs 14,000 is spent on other gift items , Rs 1,000 in the form of bank draft to the bride and up to Rs 5,000 per girl is spent on mass wedding . Widows , orphans and destitute girls have also been included in this scheme under the Chief Minister Kanya Marriage Scheme by the state government .

Nutrition Fortnight – Sworn and shown green flag to Nutrition Chariot –

All the bride and family members present at the wedding venue took the oath under Nurture Fortnight. Guests including MP , MLA gave the green flag to the nutrition chariot and gave their best wishes. Officers and employees were also honored for the outstanding work of the Women and Child Development Department.
