Raipur, 19 March 2021. The state’s Agriculture and Water Resources Minister, Mr. Ravindra Choubey inaugurated the Dairy Polytechnic (Chorbhathi) Bemetra under Dau Sri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamadhenu University, Durg in Chorbhatti of Bemetra. On this occasion, the Agriculture Minister said that we have launched Dairy Polytechnic College, which will be able to make the youth of the state technically competent in the field of milk processing. In the coming time, this course will play an important role in operating milk plants and preparing new entrepreneurs in the field of milk processing. 11 students have taken admission in the first batch of Dairy Technology Polytechnic.
Addressing the program, Shri Ravindra Choubey said that the students of Dairy Diploma will make special contribution in future in developing the flagship scheme of the State Government as a rural industry center. With the opening of the district college, the local students here will earn their knowledge in the field of dairy and in the coming time, they will become self-sufficient and increase the capacity of milk production in the district, which will provide new employment opportunities in this area. Referring to the Agricultural College of Kawardha, he said that all the students who have graduated from the agricultural cadre are connected with employment. If there is an increase in milk production capacity in the state, then the milk produced will also increase, which will increase its production in Chhattisgarh and increase the income of farmers. Mr. Choubey discussed with the people who are currently working outside the state related to dairy production and Asked to share his experience with the children and also mentioned the ambitious scheme of the state government like Narva, Garuva, Ghurwa, Bari and Gauthan. The Agriculture Minister also said that the amount of the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be transferred to the farmers’ account by the end of this month.
