Raipur, 17 March 2021. Economic and Statistics Minister Amarjeet Bhagat told the officials at the departmental review meeting held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan on Tuesday that under the skill development scheme, the youth of Chhattisgarh should be taught the Japanese language. For this, the collectors of all the districts should be entrusted with the responsibility. He said that an MoU has been done by the Indo-Japan Foundation. Whose Industries Department is the Nodal Department. The aim of the MoU is to study Japanese language under the skill development scheme, so that the local youth can be linked to maximum employment. Minister Bhagat emphasized that special efforts should be made to organize and earn livelihood of migrant laborers in Kovid-19. Mr. Bhagat has given instructions to prepare a special program for this. He called for special efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal. He said that innovation should be included in this. Minister Bhagat said that the works of innovation, MoU etc. will be reviewed every three months. It was informed at the meeting that a budget provision of Rs 2 crore has been made for innovation in the budget of 2021-22. 17 goals are being worked on in collaboration with UNICEF.
