Raipur, 11 March 2021. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel arrived at village Bathena in Patan development block of Durg district today. He met the family members of the Gaekwad family and expressed condolences to them and paid tribute to the deceased members in the incident. Five members of Bathena’s Gaekwad family died under suspicious circumstances. The Chief Minister directed to provide assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the victim’s family. Mr. Baghel also instructed the police officers to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident. IG Shri Vivekananda Sinha, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, S.P. Shri Prashant Thakur and other officials were present.
