Visited Lord Shiva in Thakurine Tola and Chief Minister participated in Nishad Samaj program
Raipur, 11 March 2021. The state government has taken a decision in the interest of fishermen by giving the status of farming to fisheries. With this decision of the government, fishermen of the state will now get loans and other facilities like farmers. Fishermen will get easy loans from cooperative banks. These things were said by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on the occasion of the program organized by Nishad Samaj at Thakurine Tola. The Chief Minister worshiped Lord Shiva in the temple here and offered prayers.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, while congratulating the people on the occasion of Mahashivaratri festival, said that today is a holy festival. May the grace of Lord Shiva be above all of you. The Chief Minister said that Nishad society has been a pioneer in social work. Nishad Raj has been the ideal character of Ramayana. When Lord Sri Rama returned to Ayodhya and preparations were made for his kingdom Abhishek, he first asked if Nishadraj had been invited. The Chief Minister said that inviting guests from other countries on the occasion of Republic Day is a continuation of the tradition of Lord Rama, The way Nishad Raj was bestowed by Lord Shriram. The Chief Minister said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to advancing fishermen. This will also increase the income of farmers. Along with farming, activities like animal husbandry and fisheries are also being promoted. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that due to the farmer friendly policies of the state government, people have returned to agriculture. Through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Yojana, the farmers of the state are being given input assistance in four installments. 4500 crores have been given to the farmers in three installments so far. The final installment amount will be given to the farmers by the end of this month. The Chief Minister said that this amount was provided to the farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana at such a time, When the farmers needed it the most. He said that farmers and villagers have got employment and additional income through the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. He said that the path of promotion has been opened for the villagers through animal husbandry, farming and fisheries. The Chief Minister said that jute mills remained closed during the Corona period, causing a gunny crisis. Despite this, the government made complete arrangements for the purchase of paddy and the farmers bought paddy. The Chief Minister said that the government is committed towards advancing rural development schemes and we will continue to work in this direction continuously. On this occasion Gundradehi MLA Shri Kunwar Nishad and other dignitaries were present. Farming and fisheries have opened the way for the villagers to progress.
