Bemetara 07 March 2021.  State Agriculture Minister  Ravindra Choubey extended his best wishes on Sunday by attending the District Level Mother Parmeshwari Mahotsav held at Singhauri Ward, District Headquarters Bemetara. Chhattisgarh presided over the program organized by District Dewangan Samaj. Motilal Dewangan, President of the State Handloom Development Association. On this occasion MLA Bemetara Mr. Ashish Kumar Chhabra , Municipality President Bemetara Mrs. Shakuntala Mangat Sahu , Banshi Patel , President District Devangan Samaj Mahendra Dewangan , Secretary Dickesh Dewangan , District Panchayat President Arang Khilesh Dewangan , among others were present.
Agriculture Minister  Choubey said that Dewangan society is a conscious society, We have to pay more attention to the initiation of education for the development of society. The pride of the society Moti Bhaiya is present among you , he is the leader of your society. He has served the people by staying with them in the Vidhan Sabha. If we aim to make Moti Bhaiya a credit for the work of social upliftment, then there is a need to learn from Moti Devangan. The state government is working for the development of people associated with the weaver business. Chhattisgarh to provide market to the weavers Handloom Development Association is trying. There are 60 thousand weaver families connected in the state. The state government is trying to make the production of village industry a market. The Agriculture Minister conveyed his best wishes and congratulations for organizing the Maa Parmeshwari Jayanti. On the demand of social building by the society, Agriculture Minister  Choubey assured to take appropriate action in this regard.
Chhattisgarh The President of the State Handloom Development Association, Mr. Motilal Dewangan said that our society has been living for centuries. Resides in Bapu, the Father of the Nation, had started the Charkha movement to promote indigenous clothing and boycotted foreign clothes. After independence, the demand for traditional handloom garments started to decrease. In order to advance the Dewangan society, more attention needs to be given to education and education. Dewangan society is not much developed by population. We will also have to pay special attention to the education of the girl child only then our society will move forward.
MLA Mr. Chhabra said that this society is a united , educated society ,It is an independent and organized society. He told that during his municipal president’s tenure, land was allotted for the society. Five lakh rupees have come to Municipal Bemetara for the premises, work will start soon.
